About us

About Us

A working farm that keeps a few rooms, rather than a hotel with a garden attached.

Our story

Eco Farm Village is a working farm first. The fields are planted and harvested, the animals are fed and milked, and the kitchen cooks what comes out of both. The rooms sit inside that, not beside it.

There are seven ways to stay, so a couple, a family and a group of friends can each find something that fits rather than being put in the wrong space. Every room opens onto the farm, and breakfast comes out of the garden.

Nobody is expected to work. But the gate to the fields stays open, the calves are fed every morning, and the kitchen will hand you a knife if you want to cook what you picked. Most people who book one night end up asking about the next.

We keep it small on purpose. A booking goes straight to reception, questions are answered by the people who will actually meet you, and the day is shaped by the farm rather than a schedule.

What we stand for

How the village works

Grown here

Almost everything that reaches the table came out of our own soil that morning

Hands in the work

Guests are welcome in the fields, the dairy and the kitchen, never just watching

Built the old way

Mud walls, clay tile and shade trees do the cooling long before any machine does

The village eats too

The farm is staffed and supplied by families who live within walking distance

Guest reviews

What our guests say

Our two fed the calves every morning and have not stopped talking about it since. Simple, honest and very well run. Bring repellent and an appetite, and give yourself a full day for the walking trails.

Took my parents up for their anniversary. Reception answered the booking within twenty minutes and had everything arranged by the time we drove in. Quiet, green, and the food is the reason we are going back in December.
Dilan Perera Colombo, Sri Lanka

We booked two nights and stayed five. Mornings out in the field, then cooking whatever we had just pulled out of the ground. The mud house stays cool all through the afternoon and you fall asleep to frogs instead of traffic.
